Vegan Waffles

So, I decided to make vegan waffles for my family today!
This recipe was inspired by SpiceUptheCurry: Eggless Waffle Recipe. Except, I changed it up a little! 

Vegan Waffle Recipe:

dry ingredients:                                                                           

1 cup of flour                                                                              
1/4 cup of whole wheat flour                                                      
a pinch of salt                                                                               
1 tablespoon of sugar                                                                    
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 cup of cocoa powder

wet ingredients:

1 tablespoon of oil
2 teaspoons of water
2 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk (put enough to make it creamy)

                                                  Directions:

1. mix in all the dry ingredients 
2. make a little hole in the middle and add in oil, water, and vanilla extract
3. slowly add in the unsweetened almond milk 
4. mix into the batter is smooth with no lumps
5. pour it in a waffle maker and wait until they turn crispy
6. ENJOY!!

I topped my waffles with powdered sugar, blueberry syrup, maple syrup, and bananas! The waffles are very tasty and even my meat-eating family liked them! I highly recommend this recipe because the ingredients are very simple and it takes a short amount of time to make these. Have a good day everybody.
