Tofu Scramble


Tofu scramble is an easy vegan alternative to eggs! This was absolutely delicious and it had the consistency of an egg. Most recipes are the same but, I'll just type it out anyway.

 ingredients:

olive oil (1 tablespoon)
firm tofu (I used one whole block, but I recommend 1/2)
red and yellow mini bell peppers (one of each)
turmeric (1 teaspoon, you can adjust it to your liking)
nutritional yeast (1 tablespoon)
salt
pepper

directions:

1. mash up all the tofu with a fork
2. put your pan on medium heat and pour olive oil 
3. add in all your bell peppers and cook them for a little while
4. add in the scrambled tofu
5. add in the turmeric and nutritional yeast
6. afterwards, you can add in salt and pepper, depending on your taste preference

This tofu scramble goes perfectly with Thomas Bagels! Everyone should try it out at least once.
